ABOUT
NORTHERN WYOMING
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Ed Keller was raised on a large family farm and feedlot in Northern Wyoming, Ed learned early on how to repair equipment and innovate to make things work.

After leaving the farming business, he worked for P&S Machine in Worland for 30 years. There he repaired, fabricated and built equipment for the oil field and farming operations.

The journey continued...
SKY AVIATION
FIREFIGHTING AVIATION
Ed joined Sky Aviation as their Innovation Specialist. Sky was a helicopter operation company with firefighting contracts. While at Sky, Ed worked on building tooling, field repair, site management and crew logistics for long line firefighting helicopter deployment.
BUCKET TECHNOLOGY
While working at Sky Ed got first-hand knowledge of the challenges of operating long line buckets. One of the challenges he faced was implementing repairs to buckets in the field quickly and efficiently. He saw the types of damage buckets could incur through the normal course of firefighting operations and developed ways of mitigating bucket damage while with Sky.
APPLYING THE CONCEPT
WYOMING BUCKET WAS ESTABLISHED IN 2023
Ed saw the need for an improved bucket design so when Sky ceased operations, Wyoming Bucket was born. He applied innovations in Safety, Durability and Efficiency to the Wyoming Bucket design that helps keep operators in the field fighting fires. If a component should be damaged or fail, the modular design of Wyoming Bucket allows changing out systems in the field without specialized expertise or equipment.
